What Namaya does

A greeting feels different when it says your name. Namaya makes that easy: choose an occasion and a design, type the first name of the person you are greeting, and Namaya creates a short video that speaks the name in a natural voice and shows it on screen.

You can listen to the name before you create the video. If it does not sound right, type it the way it sounds and Namaya will say it your way. Add your own name and a short message, then send the video as an MP4 file, for example on WhatsApp, or send a link that plays in any browser with nothing to install.

Free to start, then credits

Namaya is free to download and your first greeting is free. That free greeting is full quality and ends with a short Namaya card.

After that, each greeting uses one credit. Credits come in packs that you buy inside the app through the App Store or Google Play. The price of each pack is shown in the app, in your currency, before you buy. There is no subscription.

What is Namaya?

Does the person I send it to need the app?

No. You can send the video file itself, or a link that plays in any web browser with nothing to install and no account.

Which languages can the greetings be in?

At launch, greetings can be in Arabic, French or English. More languages are coming, each one after native speakers have checked every phrase.

What if the name is not pronounced correctly?

Tap “Hear it” before you create the video. If the name does not sound right, use “Spell it how it sounds” to type it phonetically, and Namaya will say it that way.

How much does it cost?

The app is free to download and the first greeting is free. After that, each greeting uses one credit, and credits are sold in packs inside the app. The price is shown in the app in your currency before you buy. Credits never expire and there is no subscription.

Is the voice a real person?

No. Namaya uses a synthetic AI voice, and every greeting is labelled “AI voice”.

Who can use Namaya?

Namaya is for adults 18 and over. The greetings can be sent to anyone.

Can I delete a greeting I sent?

Yes. Delete it from your history in the app and its link stops working at once. Links also expire on their own after 12 months.
