Delete your Namaya account and data

You can delete your Namaya account and all the data linked to it at any time, in the app or by email, even if you no longer have the app.

In the app

  1. Open Namaya.
  2. Go to Settings → Delete my data.
  3. Confirm. Your account, greetings and links are deleted, and the links stop working at once.

Without the app

Email info@softgenius.ae with the subject “Delete my Namaya data”, and include one of these so we can find your account:

  • the account ID shown in the app under Settings, if you noted it; or
  • the order ID of a Namaya purchase: from Apple's receipt email (or reportaproblem.apple.com), or the order number starting with GPA. from Google Play's receipt email.

We confirm by email when the deletion is done, within 30 days of your request.

What is deleted

  • your anonymous account and its credit balance (unused credits are lost and cannot be refunded by us);
  • your greetings, their videos and their links;
  • the names, messages and choices linked to your account.

The people, birthdays and reminders you saved are only on your phone: they are deleted when you delete the app.

What we keep

  • Purchase records (transaction IDs, product, date, country), for as long as tax law requires.
  • Application logs, with names removed, for up to 30 days, after which they are deleted automatically.
